    • The Quran states that ultimate judgment for everyone, including martyrs, happens on the Day of Judgment. For example:

      “Every soul will taste death, and you will be paid your dues on the Day of Resurrection. So whoever is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained success.”
      (Quran 3:185)

    • This verse emphasizes that final rewards and punishments are issued after resurrection and judgment.
  3. Special Status of Martyrs:

    • The Quran and hadith repeatedly affirm that martyrs are alive in a spiritual sense and honored by Allah:

      "Do not think of those who are killed in the way of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision."
      (Quran 3:169)

  • The majority opinion is that martyrs' souls are granted immediate access to the blessings of Paradise in a spiritual form. However, their complete and eternal enjoyment of Paradise with body and soul happens after Qiyamah, like everyone else.
