- We can change we feel & your emotion by the way you breath
- Inhale (5 second), Hold it (5 second), Exhale (5 second) - 5 times a day can lower your anxiety & sadness
- Turn to Allah swt > Lessen the feeling of anxiety
- Prayer - Rasulullah saw will rush to prayer when he feeling sadness & anxiety or feeling difficulty. Rasulullah SAW felt most sad when Khadijah & his uncle passed away at the same time he was told to make da'wah. From this incident, Allah swt asked us to make 5 times Prayer a day
- Doa - Powerful tool. Berdoalah kpdKu, nescaya Aku akan perkenankan doamu. Allah is shy and generous. He give us more than we asked for. Allah swt is healing you. Allah swt will respond to you.
- Rasullullah swt taught us to recite this doa every morning & every evening
- اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
- Allaahumma ‘innee ‘a’oothu bika minal-hammi walhazani, wal’ajzi walkasali, walbukhli waljubni, wa dhala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijaalO Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men (i.e. others).
- Recite Quran - Take time out to recite Quran. Connect to the Quran daily. Start from now even 1 verse a day> Healer of the Heart
- Look for the good. When you do it, it will grow. Each and everyone of us is blessed in so many different ways. Shaytan will spur us. Pay attention to the good and actually look for it. Think of blessings in your life and be grateful for that. There are so many, countless study that practising gratitude does wonders for mental and emotional health. and it helps especially for depression & anxiety. When we practice gratitude, we increase the level of 'dorphormine' and 'seretonic' to our brains which cause us to be happy. If you cannot think of the blessing, think that your sins is being erased when you go through the time.
- Smile - even it is a force smile. Studies found - people's mood can change & become happier even it is a force smile. Even you have gone through a bad day, smile. Few minutes later, we become happier. Prophet saw - Smile is charity.
- Spend time with your loved ones - Family support is so beneficial. Rasulullah saw when he worried, he go to Khadija RA and found support from her. Allah swt created creatures. If you feel sad, reach out for some one. Physical touch from your loved ones can reduce pain level & stress level.
